Crompton instruments became part of the TE Connectivity Energy Division in January 2002. The Energy Division, is a global manufacturer of products and systems for the electrical power industry, and an operating unit of TE Connectivity.

Manufacturing

The quality and reliability of Crompton products is achieved through highly innovative manufacturing techniques, implemented by a multi skilled and flexible workforce.

Our design and manufacturing processes have ISO-9001 accreditation and many of our products carry CE, UL, CSA, LRS, BV and ABS approvals. Computer technology aids Crompton designers to develop new products in harmony with customers, and for the supply of bespoke design solutions. To obtain consistently high levels of productivity, the Kanban control system is operated in conjunction with the latest manufacturing computer technology. This system provides the opportunity to delegate routine material transactions on the shop floor, and ensures a fast, reliable and cost effective method of manufacture.
